Elevate your snack game with this viral high protein Dunkaroo dip made with only 4 simple ingredients. It’s super nostalgic, delicious and each serving packs over 20 grams of protein.
As soon as I saw this viral recipe from Blair Cooley on TikTok I knew I had to try it. I grew up loving Dunkaroo Dip but as an adult I don’t love the ingredients used or the fact that it’s high in sugar.
This version is low sugar, high protein and such a tasty snack. I love it and so do my kiddos!
I served it up with small graham crackers for the full nostalgic affect but it would be delicious with apple slices, which are higher in fiber.
Ingredients Needed
This high protein dunkaroo dip is so easy to whip up and requires just a few simple ingredients. Here’s what you need:
- greek yogurt – I used 2% plain Greek yogurt, which worked perfectly, but full-fat yogurt will also work. If you use non-fat greek yogurt you will likely need some sort of sweetener like 1-2 teaspoons of maple syrup because it tastes tangier.
- protein powder – I highly recommend using cake batter protein powder (use code EBF for 10% off). You can use vanilla protein if that’s all you have but you’ll likely want to add a little almond or butter extract as well for more cake flavor.
- vanilla extract – just a splash to really bring out that vanilla cake flavor!
- rainbow sprinkles – I used Watkins Rainbow Sprinkles, but I also love Supernatural Rainbow Sprinkles. They’re both free of artificial dyes and corn syrup!
- small graham crackers or fruit – I love serving this dip with small graham crackers (like Annie’s honey bunnies or Simple Mills Sweet Thins), but you can also use apple slices or even strawberries for more fiber.
